Children's Hospital Colorado broke ground on its South Campus complex in Highlands Ranch.
The $100 million, 175,000-square-foot facility will be built on a 22-acre site at Plaza Drive and Lucent Boulevard, south of C-470.
The South Campus will offer urgent, outpatient specialty, inpatient and surgery care and provide imaging and diagnostic services. The campus, slated to open in late 2013, is projected to host 80,000 patient visits in its first year.
