Memorial Hospital For Children - Colorado Springs
Memorial Hospital for Children, a part of Memorial Health System, was founded on the belief that the children of the Pikes Peak region and outlying communities deserve a hospital dedicated to treating their unique developmental, emotional and physical needs.
Memorial Hospital for Children is the only nationally-designated children's hospital in southern Colorado. Serving more than 50,000 children each year, Memorial Hospital for Children offers:
The only pediatric intensive care unit in southern Colorado;
- The highest level neonatal intensive care unit in southern Colorado;
- An emergency department unit specially designated for children
- More than 20 pediatric specialties; and
- Pediatric clinics for special conditions and chronic diseases like autism, diabetes and feeding issues.
At Memorial Hospital for Children, our team involves the family in all medical care decisions and treatment. Private rooms enable parents to stay with their children through treatment. A Ronald McDonald house is located within walking distance from the hospital and a Ronald McDonald Family Room is co-located within the hospital, which supports families in from out-of-town.
Memorial Hospital for Children is located within the East Tower of Memorial Hospital Central. Additional services are provided at multiple facilities throughout Colorado Springs.
